What is Weight Management?
Weight Management is the process of adapting a lifestyle choices to maintain an ideal weight. This is dependent on a person’s age, height and gender through a healthy diet and physical activities. It is important to understand our relationship with food and behaviour patterns in order to successfully manage weight. There is little to be gained from examining what we eat but it beneficial to understand why. There are plenty of diets that restrict certain foods or aim to reduce calories but this is not sustainable and when you return to usual eating habits, the weight (plus more) piles on.

- Continue to enjoy pleasurable foods
- Have a better understanding of emotional eating
- Have informed and rational food choices
- Understand how our body works to maintain healthier body.

There has been a great deal of research about the gut-brain axis. This helps us to understand the role of the mind in what we eat and how it retains it fat. There are strong links between stress, anxiety and appetite. This has an impact on the food choices we make.

In turn, helping you to make better lifestyle choices and improve your food habits. You can still have your sweet treats and enjoy them guilt free. The number of sessions vary and depend completely on the client but on average a client will attend between 20-26 appointments.
